What is HALØ?

Here at Rebelle we get that life can be chaotic. With that in mind, we created HALØ, a wellness-centric line of products that folds seamlessly into your daily rituals. Helping you find that little extra bit of inspiration when you need it most. Our first release, dropping this summer, are Rebelle’s THC Microdose Mists. What Are Adaptogens?

You might be thinking, okay this sounds amazing but what is an adaptogen and are they legit?! Well, adaptogens are plant substances (often herbs) that have been found to help our bodies maintain balance and manage stress by helping us adapt to external stressors. By strengthening our internal systems, adaptogens can promote vitality, stabilize mood and improve performance and focus. 

Adaptogens are meant to help our bodies build resilience to stress and mitigate its further effects on the body. When we face a stressor, our bodies go through what’s called general adaption syndrome (GAS), a three-stage response: alarm, resistance, and exhaustion. What adaptogens do is help us stay in the resistance phase longer via a stimulating effect that holds off the exhaustion. 

Now we can soldier on instead of crashing during a stressful moment or event. When we can adapt to stress, we perform better and feel better despite what’s stressing us out. And with that, we can also improve our health and well-being. This is the Halo effect, Seize the day – then take it higher.
